PEYTON LANEY

Peyton Laney is a versatile six-rotation outside hitter who separates herself through ball control, court awareness, serve receive and high-level defensive ability. She plays the game with a high volleyball IQ and consistently demonstrates the ability to read the court and make smart decisions under pressure.

Offensively, Peyton has a fast, aggressive arm and can terminate a variety of sets. One of her strengths as an attacker is her ability to utilize the entire court rather than relying solely on power. She sees the defense well, understands when to attack aggressively and has a strong off-speed game available when the situation calls for it.

Peyton's ability in the back row is a significant part of her collegiate value. She is an elite serve-receive passer and next-level defender with excellent court awareness, platform control and defensive range. Her ball-control skills give her the versatility to project as either a six-rotation outside hitter or defensive specialist at the collegiate level.

Her competitive personality is another important part of her evaluation. Peyton is highly coachable, consistently puts the team first and brings natural leadership qualities to the court.
